Operating at 60 GHz gives you an interference free wireless communication between any 2 buildings, but range is not like the 5 GHz counterparts. Manufacturer specs state 1.5 KM, and we would recommend no more than 1 KM as a more realistic distance estimate. In some scenarios, even with perfect line of sight, we would not recommend more than 1/2 mile to achieve the very high throughput potential these radios offer.
