Orchid Wax SB45

Description Orchid Wax SB45 is a high quality soy base blended wax ( new formulation, firmer blend ).  SB45 produces a reliable smooth, glossy appearance with every pour and has the best cold and hot scent throw compared to other soy waxes. *Always test with colouring as the firmer blend contains more soy and might need additive if mild frosting occurs* SB45 is a softer wax and is not suitable for pouring melts as they will not cleanly remove from the mould. We recommend using VRL wick range (our 100% cotton wicks) when using SB45 as the CDN wicks may produce more sooting in this wax. Instructions: Heat wax  in a double boiler to 80°C and stir continuously until melted. Allow wax to cool to approximately 70°C and add recommended fragrance amounts. Stir until completely combined. Pour ideally at approximately 68°C to achieve best finish. Keep cooling candle away from drafts or rapid temperature changes. Allow wax to set before trimming wick. Please note: When using SB45, wicks should be trimmed and kept to 0.5cm or shorter to prevent sooting.
